Cleaning beaches and rivers

We would like to clean the countryside every year. It should be part of the Festival and people from Eastern Europe with Scottish people, can put an idea into action.

The first clean-up was in 2003 in Lunan Bay. Up until now, we threw out more then 80 big black bags of rubbish, one old broken container and a huge tractor wheel. The participants were Czech, Slovakian, Scottish, Polish and Ukrainian.

The ideal for this kind of activity came from T. G. Masaryk (first Czechoslovakia president), who appealed to future generations with the idea of “reorganization of social systems” . So it’s time, just now, to start to reorganize social activity. There is no place for killing, the persecution of, conflicts, and pressures of human rights. Let’s help people all around the world.

Project about beach clean-ups, river clean-ups and forest clean-ups:

Arbroath beach 2006

To try to clean as much area as possible by a certain time and date in Angus County or even better all around the Scotland. Create and establish the place where people can gather and talk and work together for making the condition of the environment better.

To get people of all age groups involved, with focus on young people and students, Scottish citizens and immigrants especially from the Central and Eastern Europe.

Lunan bay 2005       The main task is to convert the idea to real action. This should help to transform society to be more responsible for each other and for nature all over Planet Earth .

Whoever wants to join to this event is more than welcome. The thing is to organize a group of people and to contribute to making and keeping the environment in Scotland clean. If you have any ideas or suggestions please contact us on dobromysl@indiannet.eu
