Ivan Kolarík, a member of Operation OUT DISTANCE. After the drop he found himself in a hopeless situation, as a result of unlucky events and committed suicide on 1.4.1945. His was the first parachutist´s death on Protectorate territory. He, however, did not properly destroy the documents, which he had brought with him from Great Britain. He was identified on their basis – his entire family and his beloved girlfriend, also, were liquidated.
