The railway station in front of the Morar Hotel. Trains from Glasgow arrived there and disembarked approximately twenty-man strong groups of Czechoslovak volunteers for harsh, physically demanding training at the end of which an uncertain future beckoned for a lonely fighter in the Protectorate. Hundreds took part in this training. Yet, only a few were selected for further targeted training for a specific operation.
