The first stage of training for Czechoslovak parachutists, the so-called Assault Course – four weeks of rigorous physical training took place in north-west Scotland, near Loch Morar. No photographs from this training have been preserved. For illustration purposes we use photographs from the training of Czechoslovak shock troops.
