Indigenous mountain tribe Akha, living in golden triangle area,
is becoming a victimof development programmes of western civilizations.
A young Czech researcher is trying to understand this problem and realizes
a long- term legwork research. He gradually becomes very close to
members of this tribe which finally accepts him as one of his own.
The deeper into the problem he gets, the more inconvenient his presence
in Thailand and Laos is for some deelopment and international organizations.
He is forced to leave the area under very dramatic circumstances
and brings back some shocking testimonies.
This dramatic documentary about a small mountain ethnic tribe is based on reality.
